“It all began with the need to learn differently,” states Participate’s website. Participate is an online learning platform for educators, striving to prepare teachers to teach. However, their platform provides something that other traditional online learning solutions do not - the ability to connect and collaborate past the training portion, and network with other educators.
The staff at Participate gets together for quarterly meetings to celebrate successes and plan for the next quarter. Jane Violette, Marketing Manager at Participate, was in charge of finding employee appreciation gifts, and found Sock Club while searching for swag ideas online.
“Our company was looking for a unique swag item for our staff to be handed out at our quarterly meeting,” said Violette. “We knew we liked the idea of socks but didn't want them to be TOO brandy. Sock Club's unique designs still show company pride but also feel like I'm not outwardly flashing my company everywhere I'm going.”
While the socks themselves were a big hit at the meeting, it was working with Sock Club that left Violette with the biggest impression.
“From our first inquiry through our shipment arriving, Sock Club has provided the best customer service,” said Violette. “I had a general idea of what our company wanted, but Sock Club brought them to life and provided so many great designs. They were even so thoughtful to email me after my shipment arrived to make sure everything was great!”
