We're thrilled to introduce Baylor Meche, the newest addition to Sock Club's Design Team as our Production Design Assistant. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity, Baylor is set to bring innovative ideas and fresh perspectives to our production process.
What is your background prior to Sock Club?
Baylor: I've mostly worked as a marketing specialist for various local businesses with a concentration in custom merch. In addition to this, I've been a freelance graphic designer for 7 years!
What is your favorite thing about working at Sock Club?
Baylor: The people! Everyone here is so welcoming, professional, and enjoyable to be around. Plus the office has such a great vibe to work in!
What's it like working in your role at Sock Club for someone who wouldn't know at all?
Baylor: There's a lot of behind the scenes magic that goes into producing a final design. Sometimes artwork may seem easy or difficult, but in reality the measures to reach the desired outcome are the complete opposite! It's important to always learn new tricks and shortcuts so you can translate the concept in your head to a visual masterpiece.
Who or what inspires you?
Baylor: Seeing passionate people chase after their dreams.
What’s the last book you read? Why/what did you learn?
Baylor: The Dune series. I saw the films and had to find out what happens next.
What’s the first concert you ever attended?
Baylor: Boys Like Girls feat. The All American Rejects in 2012
What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?
Baylor: Japan
What is something people might not know about you?
Baylor: I have two different colored eyes!
When people talk about the impact you make at Sock Club, what do you want them to say?
Baylor: That I bring a sense of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent to the team.
What about your new position or Sock Club in general drew you to apply for the job?
Baylor: I'd love to see what the event marketing team is working on for our next booth. Events are always fun, and I've heard only great things about our set up!
