Meet Jordan Davis, a dynamic addition to the Sock Club team! With a decade of experience nurturing a startup shoe company from the ground up, Jordan brings a wealth of knowledge and versatility.
At his previous role, Jordan wore many hats, delving into areas like Influencer Outreach, Marketing, Customer Success, Product Development, and Logistics and Operations Management.
What is your background prior to Sock Club?
Jordan: For the past ten years, I've been helping grow a start up shoe company. As you do with any start up, I wore many hats from Influencer Outreach / Marketing, Customer Success, Product Development, and finally Logistics / Operations Management.
What is your favorite thing about working at Sock Club?
Jordan: It's been so fun learning all the new softwares and workflows. Also, everyone has been extremely kind and nice the past few days!
What's it like working in your role at Sock Club for someone who wouldn't know at all?
Jordan: Extremely detail oriented! Making sure orders and mills on the backend are all running smoothly. If they aren't we get to fix it and figure out what happened!
Who or what inspires you?
Jordan: My family. My four siblings and I are really close and I look up to all of them, literally and figuratively (very long people).
What’s the last book you read? Why/what did you learn?
Jordan: "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie. I will never accept an invitation to a remote island by someone I can't remember meeting.
What’s the first concert you ever attended?
Jordan: Corey Smith babbyyyyy
What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?
Jordan: The new 75,000sq ft Buc-ee's in Luling, TX
What is something people might not know about you?
Jordan: Unfortunately, not much. I was born and yapper and I'll die a yapper.
When people talk about the impact you make at Sock Club, what do you want them to say?
Jordan: I want them to think I was always very eager to learn and to help. Also, I brought excellent vibes.
What about your new position or Sock Club in general drew you to apply for the job?
Jordan: I am extremely eager to learn and the job description specifically called out learning and growth development! I also knew I wanted to stay working with a physical product and focus on growing my career path in the operations space. A win-win!
What initiative on another team are you most interested in learning about currently?
Jordan: Coming from a product development background, I'm so intrigued by the design team here at Sock Club! I love knowing what goes into designing a product and the thought process behind it.
