Introducing Josh May, our new SEO Specialist at Sock Club! With six years of digital marketing under his belt, Josh brings a fresh and dynamic approach to our team. He’s passionate about leveraging SEO to boost high-quality traffic and enhance customer engagement on our website.
What is your background prior to Sock Club?
Josh: I've been in inbound marketing for the past 6 years. The last place I worked was at BigCommerce.
What is your favorite thing about working at Sock Club?
Josh: the team!
What's it like working in your role at Sock Club for someone who wouldn't know at all?
Josh: Working in SEO at Sock Club is great. The founders did a great job laying the SEO foundation. Now It's my job to dial in our systems and increase organic revenue.
Who or what inspires you?
Josh: Meeting new people, reading good books, working out, being outside, underwater turtle watching at barton springs
What’s the last book you read? Why/what did you learn?
Josh: Shape Up by Ryan Singer. "Stop Running in Circles and Ship Work that Matters".
What’s the first concert you ever attended?
Josh: Boombox (with my older brother and cousin)
What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?
Josh: Fredericksburg, TX (I just had my first baby so anywhere local I haven't been sounds fun :))
What is something people might not know about you?
Josh: I run a toastmasters club in east austin. Come check us out!
