We're thrilled to spotlight Kasi Balijepally, a dynamic and dedicated member of our Operations team. With a strong background in procurement and vendor contract management, Kasi’s transition to a smaller company setting has been an exciting journey, full of opportunities for meaningful impact. Kasi is enthusiastic about the potential to make significant contributions to our team and is eager to dive deep into our operations.
What is your background prior to Sock Club?
Kasi: I was in procurement and vendor contract management prior to joining team. This is my first experience in a company with <100 employees so I'm excited for the potential impact I can make on the Ops team!
What is your favorite thing about working at Sock Club?
Kasi: The people! Everyone is very welcoming, and the Ops team is so much fun.
What's it like working in your role at Sock Club for someone who wouldn't know at all?
Kasi: Operations is the processes and steps of how a company operates from design mockups to delivering tangible product, facilitating and improving the value chain to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Who or what inspires you?
Kasi: Setting my family and future generations up for success and prosperity!
What’s the last book you read? Why/what did you learn?
Kasi: "Are your Lights On?" speaks on the approach to solving a problem. I learned a lot about malpractices, incorrect preconceptions, and a universal methodology to approach any problem solving solution. I recommend the read for anyone interested in product/process improvement and want to learn creative ways to fully assess an issue before thinking of potential solutions.

What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?
Kasi: Barbados! (GOAT FENTY's birthplace)
What is something people might not know about you?
Kasi: I can hum and whistle at the same time!
When people talk about the impact you make at Sock Club, what do you want them to say?
Kasi: I effectively diagnose processes for enhancements and improve the supply chain flow with constructive communication. More-so that I exude and spread positive vibes, boosting my coworkers' morale and confidence.
What about your new position or Sock Club in general drew you to apply for the job?
Kasi: The opportunity to join a collective, collaborative team in a role with high visibility and an avenue to make a meaningful impact. Also, I LOVE SOCKS.
What initiative on another team are you most interested in learning about currently?
