Quick, clear, easy to understand communication with our clients is one of the foundational parts of what Sock Club considers to be excellent customer service. The Sock Club team sends around 75,000 emails to our clients each year just about orders in our pipeline, email forms the basis of notifying clients about updates in their accounts, and it is the most effective way to keep our clients informed about new products and services.

Last month, we rolled out a facelift for our order update emails in the portal, in an effort to provide our clients with more relevant resources at every step of the buying process. You might have also noticed a new and improved take on our email marketing in general over the last few months!
Our marketing team has evolved quite a bit over the years, and is scaling to focus more intently on the lead sources that have historically brought us business and are continuing to grow. Tatiana Arnold joined the Sock Club team in November 2022 as our Email Marketing Manager, helping to strengthen and deepen the impact that our emails have on our clients.
Our team sat down with Tatiana to learn a little more about her and her time at Sock Club thus far.
SC: What is your background prior to Sock Club?
Tatiana: I worked in the publishing industry for 5 years prior to joining Sock Club.
SC: What about your new position or Sock Club in general drew you to apply for the job?
Tatiana: Sock Club's whole vibe! I was attracted to the energy of the company and felt like I could contribute to its growth.
SC: What's been your favorite thing about working at Sock Club?
Tatiana: I ENJOY the work I do and I love my team!
SC: What's it like being an Email Marketing Manager for someone who wouldn't know at all?
Tatiana: It's creative and expressive! I'm still using my English Degree even while being out of the publishing world.
SC: Who or what inspires you?
Tatiana: My dog - I work hard so she doesn't have to.
SC: What’s the last book you read? Why/what did you learn?
Tatiana: Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. We're all playing a game called Life and our friendships are what get us through it... tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow.
SC: What’s the first concert you ever attended?
Tatiana: Probably some alt/rock concert my dad took me to as a kid, but as an adult with memories I can't remember the first one??
SC: What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?
SC: What is something people might not know about you?
Tatiana: I love anime.
SC: When people talk about the impact you make at Sock Club, what do you want them to say?
Tatiana: That I've created an engaging user experience for our clients, and have built an effective email marketing process.
SC: What initiative on another team are you most interested in learning about currently?
Tatiana: Dev - how do you write code 👀
Tatiana has taken on her new role with a determination and excitement that has been truly wonderful to watch! She leans into curiosity, and is quick to seek answers and feedback. And the fact that she also brings Akira is a huge bonus! We are so excited to see how her work transforms our client experience.
