Sock Club loves the work Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity is doing, empowering communities so we created a custom sock design for their Annual Kick-off Event!

We recently caught up with our clients, Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit helping families in need to purchase their own quality, affordable homes. Habitat does this by building new homes, restoring old ones, and repairing already occupied homes.

While the goal is homeownership, overwhelming research shows that their homeownership program leads to “improved mental health, decreased reliance on social services, and improved academic achievement of children.”

According to Amy, Chinese New Year conflicted with their local contact’s production schedule, preventing them from getting their sock order in time for their special event. The socks were attendee gifts essential to the success of the event. Amy said, “The Chinese New Year Sock fiasco was quite a buzz around the office and everyone heard my joy and sigh of relief when it came through."
