We recently caught up with our clients, Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit helping families in need to purchase their own quality, affordable homes. Habitat does this by building new homes, restoring old ones, and repairing already occupied homes.
While the goal is homeownership, overwhelming research shows that their homeownership program leads to “improved mental health, decreased reliance on social services, and improved academic achievement of children.”
