The Mental Health Coalition Custom Socks for Event Promotion with Kendra Scott

The Mental Health Coalition is a coalition of the most passionate and influential organizations, brands and individuals who have joined forces to end the stigma surrounding mental health and to change the way people talk about & care for mental illness. Through their Coalition, they are directly helping address the needs of the 35 million people living with mental health conditions. They also work to combat the stigma that affects over 82 million Americans, most of whom don’t seek care due to the devastating stigma.

Kendra Scott founded Kendra Scott LLC, an Austin-based jewelry and accessories company, in 2002. Since its founding, Scott has prioritized running her company with the intention of putting good back into the world, whether that is through excellent product, superior customer service, or giving back to the local community and the world at large.

One of the pillars of Kendra Scott’s philosophy is Philanthropy. According to their website, Scott is quoted as saying, “My stepfather once told me the greatest thing I could do with my life was to use my talents to improve the lives of others around me. I carry those words with me every day.”

In keeping with that focus, Kendra Scott partnered with The Mental Health Coalition for Mental Health Awareness month in 2022. Focusing on self-care, the two brands drove sales for Kendra Scott products through a landing page, where a portion of the sales would be donated to The Mental Health Coalition’s cause.

Pinterest hosted an activation for their mental health promotion, Havens: Invest in Rest, and invited the two brands to participate.

Jennifer Moore, Executive Director at The Mental Health Coalition, was introduced to the idea of custom socks through the Kendra Scott team, and thought the giveaway aligned perfectly with the concept of self-care.

“Our goal was to have guests scan the QR code on the packaging and interact with MHC content through the online guide we've created with Kendra Scott,” said Moore.

Overall, the event was a success, and the custom socks from Sock Club provided the perfect solution to both providing physical comfort and driving online sales.

According to Moore, “these socks were a fun way to tell the world about our partnership!”

If you have an activation or event that needs both physical and virtual interaction, custom socks make the perfect giveaway to do it all. Get started through our online form, or email our team at custom@sockclub.com.
