Kacey Musgraves is an American country artist. When her music merch company, ColorTest Merch, was looking for unique items to add to Kacey’s store to promote her album, Golden Hour, custom socks were a natural fit. These custom socks were designed to fit Musgraves’ vintage aesthetic, and feature lyrics from her song “Happy & Sad” (“happy and sad at the same time”). The socks sold out almost immediately, prompting ColorTest to reorder them quickly, and create a new design for her “Lonely Weekend” kit. Socks are a one-size-fits-most wearable item, which makes them easy to order and stock, but they are completely custom to each artist and client.
