Today, Harper Turf Equipment’s vast dealer network expands into the turf maintenance, landscaping, and commercial mowing industries. While Harper Turf's roots expand 30+ years, acquisitions to enhance the product line have muddied brand recognition. They also work within a dealer network to sell their products, so sales and service support are key to building a strong customer base.

When asked what made them choose custom socks, a representative for Harper Turf said, “This year we sent out a pair of socks to all of our dealers and created a campaign to entice them to wear the socks at an upcoming trade show. We generated a social campaign around the event and gained a lot of traction and talking points from the unique promotion.”

Harper Turf said they received many compliments on the socks and people were asking the company to send them a pair because they were “such a hot commodity.” They said it’s fun to watch the engagement on social media. 

The company said that they plan to make this an annual event, also stating, “These are a must if you serve the golf course industry in any capacity.”
